Grand River ice jammed in some areas, open in others

The Grand River is jammed with ice in many areas, however the changing weather has caused some shifting and there are some open areas to be found.  Reports came in of some nice steelhead caught in the lower areas of the Grand River.  Unfortunately the continual cold weather is causing more freezing, and a lot of slush in any open areas.  Hang in there, Spring will come eventually!

Beatty Landing had some open fishable spots on Sunday, March 2.  The anglers pictured below reported several hits and also landed a few smaller steelhead.
