There are certainly plenty of steelhead in the Grand and Chagrin Rivers so far this season. If you braved the cold, and managed to avoid the leaves and ice, it was worth your time as many anglers have reported double digit days on the river. Currently some areas of the river are frozen, however anglers are reporting plenty of open water with active steelhead. With the predicted warmup coming this weekend chances are good the rivers will be rising quickly with all the snow and ice melt. Be sure to check the river gauges before you venture out. Be careful, dress warmly and happy fishing!
