Happy Fishing everywhere!

It's time to fish!  If you didn't like the cold Spring fishing season, now is your time.  The fish are biting all over throughout the Lake Metroparks.  There are several children's fishing programs offered if your child is just starting out and you'd like some help. Sign your child up for a program and sit back while our staff and volunteers help your child catch a fish.  Or join in the fun!

A big THANK YOU to the Ohio Central Basin Steelhead Club members for their help at our recent Kids Fishing Derby. It was a beautiful day of successful fishing for a lot of happy children.  We really appreciate the time that this group puts in to assist the future generation of responsible anglers.

Our recently stocked ponds remain very active with lots a Largemouth Bass and Bluegill being caught.  Anglers are still turning up a few steelhead in the Grand River and plenty of Smallmouth Bass are also available.  Happy Fishing!
