This has certainly been an odd winter of weather changes. Several reports came in last week of steelhead success in the Chagrin and Grand River, however they were very sporadic. If you could find open water and access it past the ice shelf, the fish were there. However, we are once again headed to warmer temperatures that will send snow melt into the streams and rivers. A quick melt could mean more muddy high water. But again the possibility is there for more steelhead in some of the local streams this weekend. Only time and temperature will tell.
