Some shoreline activity

There have been some recent reports of steelhead caught in Lake Erie nearshore, along the breakwalls and at harbor mouths.  Cooler weather has the steelhead moving from their summer home in the depths and preparing for their fall river run.  Hopefully some more rain will improve river levels and make for a good steelhead season.  Access to shoreline fishing is available at several Lake Metroparks including Lakefront Lodge, Fairport Harbor, Lake Erie Bluffs, Lakeshore Reservation and Arcola Creek.
