High water should get Steelhead moving!

Local rivers and streams are currently high and muddy but should begin to recede soon.  The high water should allow the steelhead trout to move upriver and also into the streams.  Steelhead fishing prospects should be greatly improved for the Fall season.  When fishing in Lake Metroparks please abide by any posted park closure signs.  Currently Mason's Landing is still closed due to flooding.  Seeley Road is also closed to Indian Point Park, however this park can be accessed via Paine Road.  Helen Hazen Wyman Park has recently been re-opened, allowing access to Kellogg Creek and Big Creek, which should be fishable by this weekend.  Mill Creek at Hogback Ridge Park should also be fishable through the weekend.  As the waters begin to clear steelhead fishing should be very good.
