Time to Fish!

Now is the time to go catch a steelhead here in Lake County!  Multiple reports of success are coming in from all areas.  The picture below is of a recent catch in a feeder stream off the Grand River.  Lake Metroparks offers public access to feeder streams at Indian Point (via Paine Rd), Hogback Ridge and Helen Hazen Wyman.

The water level at the Chagrin River is perfect right now and clarity is good.  Public access to this river can be found at both entrances of Chagrin River Park.  The Grand River is still slightly cloudy but the water level is good.  The water should clear through the weekend for some prime fishing time.  Public access to this river can be found at Beaty Landing, Baker Road Park, Grand River Landing, Mason's Landing and Hidden Valley Park.  Happy fishing!
