First-Class steelhead fishing!

A good weekend of steelheading built into some amazing fishing in the early part of the week.  Several reports and pictures came in from all over Lake County with many anglers reporting double digit days on the Grand River.  Steelhead were hitting from Grand River Landing, up through Beaty Landing, Helen Hazen Wyman, Mason's Landing and Indian Point.  There were even some good reports up through Hidden Valley and Hogback Ridge.  Currently the rivers are on the rise again so check the gauge before you head out.

Ohio Department of Natural Resources Director James Zehringer experiences some of the world class steelhead fishing on the Grand River at Helen Hazen Wyman Park on April 9th.
