Steelhead Fishing Possibilities

The water level on the Chagrin River is currently good.  Reports were slow through the week but today several reports of success came in.  This weekend's steelhead fishing will be largely dependent on how much rain/snow we receive.  Be sure to check the gauges before you head out to fish.  Public access to this river can be found at both entrances of Chagrin River Park and at Pleasant Valley Park.

The Grand River is still slightly high but the steelhead are there, just maybe not interested.  Sporadic reports have come in from several areas.  Public access to this river can be found at Beaty LandingGrand River Landing, and Mason's Landing

Several anglers have been spotted on Paine Creek at Indian Point and Big Creek at Liberty Hollow but no steelhead were reported landed.  Dress warm, check the gauges and good luck!
