Fall Fishing is good :)

Recent rain has taken the water level in the Grand River up as hoped but the flow is currently a little strong for fishing.  As long as we don't get a lot more rain, this weekend could be a prime opportunity to land a Steelhead as the flow drops down to a more reasonable rate.  There should be enough water in the system to allow the Steelhead to head upstream.  While we haven't had any recent reports of anything above Beaty Landing, that could happen now with the current flow.  This is also a great time to put your small boat in at Grand River Landing to access some great Steelhead activity.  The ramp is free and easily accessible.

The Rainbow Trout stocked a few weeks ago are still active and biting at Veterans Park.  Take advantage of the opportunity to land a few of these beautiful fish.
