Rivers are up, head for the creeks.

This weekend was fair for steelhead fishing.  Random reports of success came in on Saturday, mostly along the Grand River near Mason's LandingBeaty Landing and Hidden Valley  Sunday's all day rain turned both the Chagrin and Grand River into a raging, muddy mess.  While the Grand River is still high and muddy, the Chagrin is clearing up nicely.  A report came in today of success at Chagrin River Park
This nice steelhead was caught yesterday in a feeder stream off the Grand River.  Consider fishing in Mill Creek at Hogback Ridge or Paine Creek at Indian Point while we wait for the water levels to drop in the Grand River.
The Fischer family (pictured above) visited from Columbus today to try their luck on Paine Creek.  What a great way to spend a day!  A few reports also came in of recent success at Arcola Creek Park.
