Two local steelhead fishing tournaments

There is still time to get in on the local fishing tournament action.  Go to the link at the bottom right of this page for information on City of Painesville Steelhead Tournament or check with Don at Harbor Bait to join in The Harbor Bait Steelhead Tournament.  Posted below are some of the top Steelhead entered so far.




Recent rains have once again raised the rivers to less than desirable fishing levels.  Reports have been coming in of success in the local creeks.  Try your luck at Paine Creek in Indian Point Park, Mill Creek at Hogback Ridge Park, Big Creek at Helen Hazen Wyman Park or Arcola Creek Park while we wait for the Grand and Chagrin Rivers to come back down.
