Conditions good for another steelhead weekend!

The flow and color in the Chagrin River are looking good for some decent steelhead fishing this weekend.  Cold but reasonably dry weather should be perfect to get out and fish.  Access is at Chagrin River Park or Pleasant Valley Park.

The Grand River is still flowing a little high but the level is dropping quickly.  Watch the gauge for your opportunity to fish possibly later in the weekend.  Local creeks are seeing some good action.  Reports are coming in from Paine Creek at Indian Point and Big Creek at Helen Hazen Wyman.

These two anglers braved the ever-changing conditions on Wednesday and it paid off for them.  Hard to believe these two pictures were taken the same day but that's winter fishing in Ohio for you!  Dress warm and Happy Fishing.
