Should be another good weekend...

The ups and downs of winter steelheading continued through this week.  After last weekends good conditions, rain once again filled the rivers with muddy high water.  This high water should cause more fresh fish to head into the rivers and creeks.  The local creeks are currently free of ice and very fishable. Reports are in that the water in the Big Creek at Helen Hazen Wyman looks good. Also worth checking this weekend would be Paine Creek at Indian Point or Mill Creek at Hogback Ridge.  The Chagrin River is still slightly high but is dropping fast and should be fishable later into the weekend. Public access to the Chagrin River is offered at Chagrin River Park and Pleasant Valley Park
