Let's go fishing!

There are plenty of fish waiting to be caught throughout the Lake Metroparks.  Veterans Park is a favorite for many beginners because of the abundance of fish and the easy access to the fishing piers.

Brandon was happy to display this Largemouth Bass that he caught Wednesday at Veterans Park.

This large catfish caught at Veterans Park refused to hold still for a picture.

Gabe caught this Largemouth Bass casting off the Veterans Park pier on Wednesday also.

Cal reported catching several fish at Hidden Lake, including this Largemouth Bass that was put back into the water to grow more.  Hidden Lake has a small pier and several bank access areas.  You may also bring a canoe or kayak to fish the water here.

This catfish was caught at Hidden Lake recently.  The park is open for fishing until 11pm.
