Beautiful fishing weather..

We are certainly enjoying some beautiful fishing weather lately!  Several reports have come in of steelhead caught at the Fairport short pier. A few fish have been reported off the shores of Lakeshore Reservation and Arcola Creek.  A report was also received of steelhead in the Grand River up as far as Beaty Landing.  Dust off those waders and get out to fish before winter is upon us.

Hidden Lake was stocked today with Largemouth Bass and catfish in preparation for the Family Fishing Derby on Saturday.  Thank you to Ohio Central Basin Steelheaders club for assisting us with a grant to pay for these additional fish.  Unfortunately this pre-registered derby is full so no further participants can be accepted.  If you missed out on signing up for the derby, be sure to head out to Hidden Lake after Saturday morning to try to catch these additional fish.
