Great Spring fishing in progress!

The weather is beautiful and the fishing is great!  There are plenty of Steelhead in the Grand River, in addition there are some leftover walleye and the Smallmouth Bass are starting to appear.  Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife recently stocked over 100,000 juvenile steelhead (smolts) at Grand River Landing.  These 6-8" yearlings are the future of our Steelhead program.  Local creeks are low and very clear, with just a few fish stuck in the deeper pools.  Recently stocked Veteran's Park and Hidden Lake are fishing well, with plenty of Largemouth Bass being caught.  It's predicted to be a beautiful weekend, take time to go fishing.
