Grand River is high and muddy

The Grand River is currently high, muddy and flowing fast.  We can hope that this means the steelhead push their way up into the tributaries to give us all a great start to the New Year!  Big Creek at Liberty Hollow and Helen Hazen Park is fishable and improving rapidly.  Paine Creek at Indian Point is also headed in the right direction for good fishing.  Very few reports have been received of fish in the creeks yet but hopes are high for the coming weekend.  Both the Grand and Chagrin Rivers are starting their descent back into their banks but time and rain will tell when they will be ready to fish again...odds are it won't be until the New Year.  Have a safe and happy New Year's celebration!
