Go Fish....now!

Today is a great day to catch your first steelhead of 2016!  Several reports have come in of great fishing on the Grand River between Painesville Recreation park, all the way upstream to Hidden Valley, this includes public access at Beaty Landing, Helen Hazen, Masons Landing and Blair Rd Park.  The lower Grand is frozen so no fishing at Grand River Landing, however further upstream is still flowing.  You will have to contend with ice chunks, and search for open areas, but the steelhead are active and biting.  This could be short-lived as a warm-up and rain are in the very near future.  And then predictions are for the BIG FREEZE!  Happy Fishing!!
